The Morris Family with some dandy Coho!!
Julie, Alex, Jacob and Nick
Took the Morris family out for their first Coho outting here on the Skagit and hooked into some dandy sized fish!! 10 year old Alex was the hot rod in the boat for the day and gave some great instruction to Mom and Dad on technique after landing his second Coho
Jacob did an awesome job as well fighting multiple fish.
Great job guys!! Had a great time and look forward to seeing you all back again next season!

One of the 4 Moose we ran into while taking a few days off to do a little late season deer hunting. This cow moose was on the same trail as us about 50 yards away… was a bit of a stand off till her calf came out behind her and they both headed up the hill. They got about 1/2 way up the ridge when we heard the cow bellow, jump and chase off 6 beded down deer… guess they were a little too close to her calf.
Took a few days off and headed over to Eastern WA. to try and get our 10yr old daughter Anjelika into her second ever deer… while we didn’t see quite as many deer as last year, Anjelika got her shot at 3 of them, including a trophy buck, and now knows why they call it “Hunting” and not “Killing”
Even though we came home deerless we still had a great time and the experience alone, for all of us, was priceless.
We got to see quite a few deer, tons of turkeys and 4 different moose, including one nice sized bull moose that decided to face off with Dad for a few minutes. (No time for a pic of the bull moose, was a 30 yard stand off with a pissed off bull and I was more focussed on looking down a scope lense than a camera lense waiting for a charge.)

O.K., Day 1 with Matt, Ted, Eddie and Jeff I forget to bring my digital camera, as usual, but we had a great day of fishing!! Matt boated his two largest Silvers yet, after many years fishing with us, and I forgot the camera!
… Sorry Matt! Matt was on fire too, boating his first dandy Silver on his first cast and his second not ten minutes later. Eddie was also on fire with multiple hook-ups and Ted and Jeff were’nt too far behind. One short of getting everyone’s limit today… Had a great time Guys!!! Thanks!!

Tom, Mike, Gary and Mike (a.k.a “Hook-set from Hell Mike”) with some nice Silvers for the day!
Today we fished Tom, Mike, Gary and Mike for another great day of Silver “fishing”…. “Fishing” not all “Catching”, who knows how many fish we actually missed and had on but it was one pretty good day of fishing!! “Hook-set from Hell Mike” earned his nickname today after he got crap for candy arsing his first hook-set and missing a fish to then setting the hook so hard on his next fish that we actually broke the hook, and on his last fish he set the hook so hard that the fish just came right in without a fight it was so stunned!
Great time guys… Thanks again!!

Brian, Bruce (a.k.a. “Tangles the Clown”), Khai and Ray one short of a limit of limit of Silvers!
Today we were joined by Brian, Khai, Ray and “Tangles the Clown” Bruce… sorry Bruce, had to go there.
Lets see, backlashing a spinning reel multiple times, tree casts multiple times and I can’t even remember how many jigs were lost… Nothin’ but love Brotha’, Nothin’ but love!… yer still welcome in my boat! Again, one Silver shy of a limit today and not just for lack of chances but because the river came up about 3 feet on us and colored up good from the previous night’s rain. Great time guys!… Thanks again!

Kirk (a.k.a “Spazz”), Lance, Brian (a.k.a. “Cheez-It” ) and Shawn with a “University Mechanical” LIMIT of Silvers!
River dropped back in shape over night for our 4th day with the “University Mechanical” crew. 1st three days each boat load of guys certainly had their chances of getting a boat limit of Silvers but only our Day 4 group actually did it… in style and limiting out the boat before Noon!
… Shoulda’ had our boat limited out way before Noon, with all the chances the guys had… Brian!! (a.k.a. “Cheez-It”… YUP!! He’s a “Cracker”!!!) lost and missed quite a few
and Kirk (a.k.a. “Spazz”) missed his fair share as well… CHAMP of the day was Lance, who not only boated the most fish, but also the largest Silver of the 4 days, knocking boss man Matt off the biggest fish of the week slot. Congrats again guys!! Had a great time!!

Lance with the big “University Mechanical” Silver of 2007!! Congrats again Lance!!
Had a great time guys and hope to see ya all back again next season!! Thanks again Matt and Ted!!
