The Chum Salmon invasion is on!!!
The Chum-Foo Warriors were out in full camo and on the attack all weekend! “Army Fish”
Fished Tim and Vicky from CA this weekend and have no idea just exactly how many Chum we hooked into, only that it made for some sore arms and backs… also found a few Silvers mixed in with the Chum as well. Had an absolute blast this weekend Tim (Tom) and Vicky!! Thank You!

Chum Salmon are here !!!!! Can’t even tell ya how many we boated today in our quest for some Silver Salmon,.. only that they were all over the place and flat arse tearing it up hard… man can they fight !!
Steve and Anita joined us again today for some more Skagit River Fall Salmon action… and a ton of action is just what they got!
Even with all the Chum Salmon we hooked into today we still managed a nice limit of Silvers. Most of the Chum we hooked today were a bit on the dark side as far as keepers go.
Great time as usual guys looking forward to doing it again! Be sure to ice those arms down good tonight.

Both Blue and Ruffed Grouse hunting this season has been pretty good overall despite the extremely dry weather we’ve been having. Most of our success this Grouse season so far has been either mid morning or just before dusk near any number of berry patches. Here’s a couple of pics from some recent Grouse outings.

Makaio and Don with a couple of nice Ruffed Grouse. Both Don and Makaio bagged quite a few Ruffed and Blue Grouse during there three days with us.

Needing some serious rain now to get the Coho Mojo back under way!!
Water levels are the lowest any of us can remember for this time of year and Coho fishing has been pretty tough compared to seasons past. Lots of Silver Jacks around this year and a good 90 % plus of the Silvers we have been catching this season have been of hatchery origin… just waiting for some rain to jump start things here for the rest of our fall salmon runs… still.
Chum Salmon have begun to make their presence known now too and we’re seeing more and more of them each day… Man can these fish fight!!! Pound for pound they have to be the hardest fighting salmon around!
Here’s a few pics from the past few days trips:

Paul and Randy with some Silver Jacks, one nice Silver and one bright Chum.
Bring on the Rain Dances!!!!

… Needing a swift kick in the arse right now!
Sure, we’re gettin’ our fish each day but we are having to work pretty hard for them right now hitting every little pocket on the river to find them. OK, maybe someone can do a “small” rain dance for us to give us the jump start we really need.
Here’s a few more pics for ya from what we have been catching:

Steve and Anita with some nice hatchery Coho

The Weicker family with some nice fish: Far left Jim with yet another Sockeye for the season, Jamie with a nice Silver, George with a chromer Silver and Lisa far left with another Sockeye.
